Fonthill Primary School

Prospectus

“Working Together, Achieving Together”

Ofsted April 2014

“Good” with “features of outstanding teaching“

At Fonthill, we understand that choosing the right school for your child is an important decision. Children learn best when parents, carers and staff work together to support their learning experiences. We are a school at the heart of our community and believe in working in partnership with you to give your child the best possible start to education.

We are committed to ensuring every child has an exciting, enriching and successful start to school life, which gives them a firm foundation to continue their learning journey with us as they move through the school.

The Journey begins here …….

Built in the 1930s Fonthill School is one of the oldest and most established schools in Southmead.

We continue to build on what has already been established and now benefit from extensive grounds with two  dedicated and purpose built outdoor spaces for Early Years children.

There are separate playgrounds for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children and a large playing field for sporting activities. In addition we have a Super Sports Court for all children to enjoy.

We enjoy a spacious building with two halls, a library and cosy reading areas. Our classrooms are both stimulating and enjoyable and adapted to meet the needs of the children in that age range.
